As of Late

Rita's Water (pronounced Whaador in Philly) Ice is the best thing I have ever eaten! Seriously. And those of you who arent on the east coast, dont even ask what "water ice" is. Just trust me when I say that it is amazing!!

One day I will buy this 1.9 million dollar house. Im so in love with it and its not fair that I drive by it everyday.

Reading the General Conference edition of the Ensign poolside was the best idea, so much more edifying than 'Glamour'.

Maura and a friend "Sunning"

This weekend my friends and I took a road trip to Palmyra, NY to see the Hill Comorah Pageant, this drive though Panera caught our eyes for dinner on the way to the show!

Before the show started, it was amazing to me that 2 weeks ago when I was in Palmyra there was nothing on this hill but grass!

The New York sunset!

Let the show Begin!!

After the show we went to our friends cabin and made S'mores with some YSA from the DC area. They were pretty cool and I even met a guy named Moroni! I didnt believe him until he pulled out his license!

On the drive home we stopped at Red Robin because Porsche had never been there before and it reminded me of my childhood.

My ears seriously needed to pop!

The Pageant was amazing and made me want to read the Book of Mormon even more than usual! I have great friends! Im really happy.

The only sad part is that I caught a little cold somewhere between the first picture and the last. Hopefully it will go away soon!!

p.s. i miss my family.

Manhattan Temple

This last weekend my singles ward planned a trip to the Manhattan Temple. It was a somewhat stressful drive into the city. We almost didnt make it in for our session, literally we were running to the temple finally getting to the parking structure! But of course once we got in, the Spirit was strong and I knew that Heavenly Father was happy with my choice to be at the Temple that day.

Here is a picture of one of the Bridges we went on to get into Manhattan!

The Temple is just on a street corner and so to get a good picture of it is somewhat difficult. I liked this picture I got of just the name of our church.

A series of events later, a few YSA and the Bishop decided to go to a Broadway show. There were numerous votes for Phantom Of The Opera, which was a good pick I will admit. If you know me, you probably know that this show wouldn't have been my first pick. I can honestly say that the show was amazing, everything about it. Just beautiful!

Maddie, Myself and Thuyen, the three of us had a splendid time!

The Majestic Theater

Thuyen Broke the rules and snuck some photos of the end of the show!

It was an amazing trip to NYC. The Temple, Lunch in Manhattan and a Broadway Show!

Independence Day In Philly!

There really is no place like Philadelphia on 4th of July. Where it all began!

 Dave the dentist!

Party on the Parkway, every year there is a free concert on Benjamin Franklin Parkway!

Dave took this picture of me, documenting my first time on a Bus in Philly! What an adventure it was riding with 100 other people all going to the same place. Not to mention we rode through West Philly.... and the bus route was interrupted by many block parties. It was a long and crazy ride. One that will not be forgotten!

Amazing Fireworks!

Now that we are in full swing of Summer, my Calendar looks like this! It may not look too extreme, but when you work 10 hours/day Monday- Friday the weekends are all you have!!

All I can say is that I have never been more proud to be an American!
